n8n automation

n8n automation agency.
Self-hosted, maintained and yours.

IrenicTech is an n8n automation agency for teams whose automations now carry real work. We build self-hosted n8n systems, migrate chains off Zapier and Make, and keep them running on a maintenance retainer. 8 of the 9 delivered systems we publish run on n8n, with every branch and the condition that fires it on the page.

Who it is for

Who works with our n8n automation agency

  • Teams outgrowing Zapier or Make

A chain that once saved an hour now runs part of the business, and there is no clean way to retry one failed step or see why a run went wrong.

  • Healthcare and regulated teams

Workflow data has to stay in an environment you control, with access limits and an audit trail you can show.

  • Owners of an n8n instance nobody maintains

Someone built it and moved on. You need an n8n consultant to review it and an n8n developer to take it over.

  • Teams adding AI to a working process

An agent has to make a decision inside a workflow that already runs, with its output checked before it touches a record.

What we build

What we build on n8n

  • Self-hosted n8n

n8n on your own infrastructure or private cloud, with TLS through a reverse proxy, encryption at rest, monitoring, logging and a plan for updates. You own the instance and the workflows.

  • Zapier and Make migrations

We map what each chain actually does, including the failures it ignores, rebuild it in n8n and cut over one process at a time. Where a simple chain is the right answer, we leave it alone.

  • Agent steps with checks

OpenAI and Anthropic models making decisions inside the workflow. Extraction and validation run in sequence, so unchecked output never reaches your database.

  • Integrations

Systems we have connected through n8n include GoHighLevel, Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Monday.com, ClickUp, Twilio, WordPress and Google Workspace.

  • Failure handling

Webhooks acknowledged before processing, rate-limit buffers at external boundaries, writes guarded against double submits, and human approval where a mistake is expensive.

  • Maintenance retainers

Monitoring, n8n updates, credential rotation and changes when an upstream API moves, so the system keeps working after launch.

Running your pipeline in GoHighLevel too? Most of what we ship pairs the two, so see our GoHighLevel developers page.

Healthcare

HIPAA-aware n8n builds

We will not tell you n8n is HIPAA compliant, because n8n does not say so. n8n's security page covers its SOC 2 alignment and does not mention HIPAA or business associate agreements. n8n's post on regulated industries says self-hosting can help with data storage rules under HIPAA, and describes its controls as support for compliance. If you need a BAA from n8n, ask n8n directly.

Self-hosting changes who holds the data and who carries the work: n8n's security page leaves encryption at rest and TLS to self-hosters. You also need a BAA with your cloud host and with every vendor that touches patient data. In our published healthcare system we kept data in transit to a minimum, held no PHI in automation tools beyond what the workflow needs, reached the EHR through authenticated APIs only, and logged every automated action. Our healthcare software practice covers the wider picture.

How it works

How an n8n engagement runs

Most productized engagements ship in weeks rather than quarters.

  1. 01

    Audit what exists

Your current chains, their failure modes and what it costs you when one of them breaks.

  2. 02

    Agree a fixed scope

A written scope and a fixed price for a sprint, or a quote after discovery for a larger platform.

  3. 03

    Build and host

Workflows built on your instance, with credentials in a credential store rather than hardcoded.

  4. 04

    Cut over

One process at a time, with your team checking results before the old chain is switched off.

  5. 05

    Maintain

Runbooks at handover, then a retainer if you want us to keep it running.

n8n automation: common questions

  • What does an n8n agency do?

It designs, builds and maintains automations on n8n, usually connecting several systems and handling the failures a simple chain ignores. We also tell you what should stay out of n8n: a fixed chain that works can stay where it is.

  • Should we hire an n8n consultant or an n8n developer?

A consultant reviews what you have and tells you what to change. A developer builds it. Most teams need a short review followed by build work, and we do both, so the review turns into working systems.

  • Can you migrate our Zapier or Make automations to n8n?

Yes. We map each chain, rebuild it in n8n and cut over one process at a time. We also tell you when not to migrate, because Zapier and Make are the right answer for some simple chains.

  • Is n8n HIPAA compliant?

n8n's security page does not mention HIPAA or business associate agreements, so we do not describe n8n as compliant. Self-hosting keeps workflow data in an environment you control, and compliance then depends on how that environment and the workflows are built. Ask n8n directly for its current position.

  • Do you offer n8n maintenance?

Yes, on a retainer: monitoring, n8n updates, credential rotation and changes when an upstream API moves.

  • How much does an n8n build cost?

Price varies with scope. Productized sprints are fixed-price, and larger orchestration platforms are quoted after discovery, once we have seen the process.

What happens next

  1. We reply within 4 hours, from a real person, not an auto-responder.
